Primary applications include lasers, glass coloring and tinting, and dielectrics. Neodymium Carbonate is generally immediately available in most volumes. Ultra high purity, high purity, submicron and nanopowder forms may be considered. Neodymium Carbonate is a water insoluble neodymium source that can easily be converted to other neodymium compounds, such as the oxide by heating (calcination).
Carbonate compounds also give off carbon dioxide when treated with dilute acids. Primary applications include lasers, glass coloring and tinting, and dielectrics. NdCO3 is generally immediately available in most volumes. Ultra high purity, high purity, submicron and nanopowder forms may be considered.
